False Hope
I met a guy outside of my least favorite bar, smoking the same kind of cigarette. He asked where I was from. We talked about our favorite books, and asked which color I liked best. Then he told me he had a fear of water, and I told him that we could never be together.

I saw a man walking a dog today, the dog’s eyes where all white, and his pupils felt distant and disconnected he was barking loudly at nothing, and it made me think of myself.
